New Lacy Pix!

A Waggytail volunteer here: I was privileged to bring Miss Lacy to her ophthalmologist appointments. She was a perfect little angel the whole time, not complaining or moving as her eye was examined and prodded, which I'm sure caused her some discomfort. We are hoping to raise some funds to help with Lacy's surgery soon, because although she is on eye drops for the pain and inflammation, it must be uncomfortable for her.

Waggytail
has already spent over $1800 on Lacy's veterinary care before her eye surgery. Lacy had a skin condition that was treated and mammary tumors that were removed, in addition to her eye doctor visits and medicines. A note for all pet lovers: if Lacy's previous owner had responsibly spayed her, she would probably not have developed these mammary tumors! We were very happy to learn that she was cancer-free, but were informed by her medical team that she should have an additional surgery to remove her eye. We expect the cost of this surgery to be upwards of $1000. While we don't mind spending the money on our wonderful Lacy, it would be great to get some help for her medical bills so that we can continue to rescue and find new homes for other deserving pets like her.

And she is such a sweetie-pie! Her foster mom calls her "the ultimate lap dog". She will paw at your hand and duck her head under your palm to get you to pat her. She has many years left to give someone as a loving companion. Please, if you can help our Lacy out, donate directly to Paypal at our website, Waggytail Rescue, or mail your donation to the following address:
